In my own opinion, as I have tried Carbon (the sequel to Most Wanted) on the standard Xbox (not the 360), I have found this to be preferable to Carbon. Obviously everything will be easy at the start, but there can be times where your opponents, ( be they racers or cops) act rather stupidly. There are 6 levels, but level 6 is rarely seen. In the Black Edition, you are allowed to own 25 cars in career mode but are allowed only 3 under the "my cars" section for use in single race. In this, you enter the city of Rockport and begin to challenge the Blacklist 15, the 15 most wanted street racers.
In the standard edition, you can only own 21 cars in career mode at least 13 in "my cars." Finally, the graphics are very good, with excellent reflections and all the workings of the city. So most of the time you'll be no higher than level 5, which is enough, believe me.As for the difficulty of the races and challenges, that can vary depending on challenge and circumstances. Number 15, Razor, sabotages your car, so after you get out of jail, you must return to the Blacklist and fight your way up to challenge Razor again, except now he's at the top. This game is the sequel to NFS Underground 2, and here is the first game from the Need for Speed series with police since Hot Pursuit 2. Each time you beat a racer, you may choose 2 of 6 cards, which can include parts upgrades, get out of jail free cards, or possibly your opponent's pink slip for his/her car.Compared to past games in the NFS series, there is a great deal of emphasis on the police pursuits rather than the racing.
One note is that I've tried the Black Edition of this game and the normal one, and would like to point out one thing.
Sometimes I will just sit down and see how long I can run from the police for fun. I also own this for the PS2 and this version is by far better and not just because of HD or graphics. The races are good but can get frustrating sometimes. The cops are more aggresive and use the box formation well. It gives purpouse to runing from the police as to it just happing.
All in all its one of the best. The placement of short cuts are done well. Who dosen't ever feel like running from them from time to time. Having played earlier games of The Need for Speed seris this is by far one of the best. At least here you can with out all the real hassel.
Their are more objects on the road that can slow you down.
If your looking for a racing game where police prescence is a hugh part of the game, than nfs most wanted is the game for You.It takes alot of skill to beat all the racers on the 15 most wanted drivers list, and even more to take out the cops and not get caught as they also get better and better as You progress. Great graphics and voice over work for the police encounters make this game very entertaining.
need for speed carbn was to easy for me. unlike need for speed carbon. this game has so many cops at the end this game was great i loved it there was some many cops. but it was really hard to beat. so i would recommend this game if you want a harder game.P.S.
It is an awesome game and lots of fun. This game is worth every cent. Need For Speed Most Wanted was a major success. The single player is great and fun, and the multiplayer is also fun.
